Link your Quillio Account to OneLaw

Overview

Before you can use Quillio with OneLaw, you need to link your Quillio account to your firm's OneLaw environment. This connects your Quillio login to OneLaw and lets Quillio work with the documents held in your OneLaw matters.

Once linked, you can connect a Quillio workspace to a OneLaw matter, sync matter documents into Quillio, and manage documents created in Quillio back to the relevant OneLaw matter.

Who can do this

  • Every User: Anyone with a Quillio account and OneLaw login can connect their own account to OneLaw.
  • System Administrator: A System Administrator connects their own Quillio account to OneLaw, and additionally enters the Organisation Webhook Key once for the firm.

Before you start

Before linking your Quillio account, make sure:

  • Your firm's Quillio integration has been enabled in OneLaw.
  • Your System Administrator has completed the one-time Quillio-side setup for your firm.
  • Your firm is running version 4.3.0.5510 or later of OneLaw.
  • You have a Quillio account and can log in.
  • You have your OneLaw login details ready.

If you are the System Administrator completing the one-time signing key step, also make sure:

  • You have the signing key that was created during the OneLaw enablement. The same key must be entered on both the OneLaw and Quillio sides.

Steps

Every User

Connecting your Quillio account to OneLaw lets Quillio access your OneLaw matters and documents. Each person who wants to use the integration completes these steps.

  1. Log in to Quillio
    • In Quillio, sign in with a magic link, your password, or Google.

  2. Open your profile
    • Click the profile icon.

  3. Go to Integrations
    • In the profile menu, click Integrations.

  4. Connect to OneLaw
    • Find the OneLaw tile, then click Connect.

      Result: You are redirected to OneLaw to approve the connection.
       
  5. Sign in to OneLaw
    • Sign in with your OneLaw login details and approve the connection when prompted.
      Result: You are returned to the Quillio home page. On the Integrations page, the OneLaw tile now shows Connected.
       

System Administrator

If you are the System Administrator, first complete steps 1 to 5 above to connect your own account, then complete the steps below. These additional steps are done once for the whole firm and let OneLaw notify Quillio when documents change in OneLaw. Every User completes steps 1 to 5; only the System Administrator completes the steps below.

  1. Open the OneLaw settings
    • On the Integrations page, on the OneLaw tile, click the settings cog in the top-right corner.

  2. Enter the Organisation Webhook Key
    • In the Organisation Webhook Key field, enter the same signing key that was created during the OneLaw enablement.

  3. Save the key

    • Click Save.

      Result: The Organisation Webhook Key is saved for your firm.

      Note: The signing key is shared across your organisation and must match the signing key set in OneLaw when the integration was enabled. Users can connect their Quillio account without it, but document changes made in OneLaw will not be sent to Quillio until it has been saved and matches.

Result

Your Quillio account is linked to OneLaw. You can now connect Quillio workspaces to OneLaw matters, sync matter documents into Quillio, and manage documents created in Quillio back to the relevant OneLaw matter.

For document changes made in OneLaw to flow through to Quillio, the Organisation Webhook Key must be saved on the Quillio side and match the signing key set in OneLaw. This is covered by the one-time System Administrator steps above.
