Overview
Microsoft 365 integration allows OneLaw to connect securely to your firm’s Microsoft 365 tenant.
This integration is required for features that connect to Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint-based Precedent Libraries.
This article explains how to enable Microsoft 365 integration in OneLaw.
Who can do this
- System Administrators
Before you start
Before enabling Microsoft 365 integration, you must have:
- Your Application (Client) ID from Microsoft Azure
- Your Directory (Tenant) ID from Microsoft Azure
These are created when the OneLaw Integration app is registered in Azure.
If you do not have these details, contact your IT service provider.
If required, provide your IT provider with the downloadable Microsoft 365 App Registration instructions attached at the bottom of this article so they can complete the Azure setup.
You must also:
- Have Microsoft 365 Administrator rights (for example, Global Administrator or Application Administrator), or arrange for an administrator to approve the integration
Steps

Enable Microsoft 365 Integration
- In OneLaw, go to Administration tab on the navigation ribbon.

Select Integrations.

In the Web Services section, double-click Microsoft 365.
Result: The Microsoft 365 Integration window displays.
- Select Enable Microsoft 365 Integration.
- Enter the following details:
- Tenant ID = Directory (Tenant) ID supplied by IT
- Client ID = Application (Client) ID supplied by IT

Select Save & Close.
Result: You are prompted to sign in to your Microsoft account.

Sign in using your Microsoft 365 credentials.
Result: A confirmation message displays to confirm the Microsoft 365 settings have been saved.
- Select OK.
Result
Microsoft 365 integration is enabled for your OneLaw environment.
OneLaw can now securely connect to your Microsoft 365 tenant for supported integration features.
